Alex Flanagan

She graduated from The University of Arizona and Salpointe Catholic High School in Tucson, Arizona. She is employed by the NFL Network as an anchor/reporter and for NBC Sports as a sideline reporter for the Notre Dame home football games and also for Football Night in America. Flanagan can be heard or seen in the popular games on video Madden 10 and Madden 11 as host of an in-game weekly recap show alongside Fran Charles. Alex originates from Sonoita in Arizona. Kevin Flanagan, a former basketball player at the University of Arizona is her husband. They have two daughters and a son. Alex's father is the owner of two Arizona steakhouses, The Steak Out (located at Sonoita) as well as Dove Mountain. Flanagan began her career at KVOA-TV in the year of her undergraduate studies as a reporter as a anchoring news. In 1998, she began covering sports. She worked for various networks such as NBC Sports, NFL Network, ESPN, and Fox Sports. Additionally, she was an active member in the Gamma Phi Beta sorority. Following her graduation Flanagan landed her first television job. She was an assignment-based news reporter and weekend anchor at KCCO-TV located in Alexandria, Minnesota.
