Riesgraf appeared on My Name Is Earl with Jason Lee in 2005 and 2007. She also appeared in Alvin and The Chipmunks, as Natalie Duckworth's mother in a supermarket. From 2008 until 2012, she played the role of the principal character Parker in the TNT series Leverage. The actress was a star in Complications on USA Network the show that followed the life of a morally conflicted physician.[6] The show lasted only one season. In September 2019 Riesgraf was cast as the role of the main character on Paramount Network's drama series 68 Whiskey.

She earned an undergraduate degree in English Literature at the University of Pennsylvania after growing as a child in New York City.
